Purpose:
To share the Word of God and Eucharist through weekly communion
services, monthly liturgies, weekend Eucharist and acts of
service for Edgewood Manor residents.

Ministry
to Edgewood Manor started with weekly Mass as soon as Edgewood
opened 1978. In the summer of 1979, Fr. Clancy and Joan
Hudak developed the Eucharistic Ministry to the sick and
shut-ins. After study, organizing and recruiting, Catholic
Edgewood residents as well as home bound parishioners began
receiving weekend Eucharist August 19, 1979.
In
1982, when Immaculate Conception Parish was reduced to one
priest, weekly communion services at Edgewood were provided by
Eucharistic Ministers Tom Fisher, Daniel & Joan Hudak.
Also
serving the Edgewood residents over the years were: Fr.
James Risacher, Fr. James Say, Fr. Ray Ensman, Sr. Jane Fisher,
Margaret Phillips, Joan Hudak and weekend Eucharistic Ministers.
Today
Fr. John Missler, Sr. Jane Fisher, Tom Clark and Joan Hudak as
well as weekend Eucharistic Ministers help to serve the
spiritual needs of the Edgewood Manor residents.
