The
role of the minister of Holy Communion is to distribute the Body
and Blood of Christ. All ministers are asked to serve a
two-year renewable commitment. Lay distributors receive
initial training and continuous training according to diocesan
guidelines. Ministers should be persons of mature faith
who have shown commitment to the life of Christian service.
