The
Mass contains the high point, both of the action by which God
sanctifies the world, and of the worship that the human race
offers to the Father. The entire celebration is to be
planned in such a way that it brings about in the faithful, a
participation in the body and mind, that is conscious, active,
full and burning with faith, hope and charity. This
planning is the ministry of the parish Liturgy Team.
The coordinators of the liturgical ministries and other
volunteers collaborate with the pastor and deacons to address
the prayer and worship needs of our faith community. Much
of the team's work is done outside of the meetings, but they do
meet eight times a year, September through May (except December)
on the third Thursday of the month.
