Pastoral
Council is of the utmost importance in the life of the
parish. The Pastoral Council makes recommendations to the
pastor regarding the mission and direction of the parish.
As the author and caretaker of the Parish Vision Statement, the
primary role of Pastoral Council is:

To
identify areas in the parish of need and concern (both
practical and spiritual)

To
evaluate on-going areas of parish ministry and propose
changes in light of our vision and mission.

To
recommend short and long range goals to the pastor and
pastoral staff for implementation.
Parishioners
who are interested in joining Pastoral Council are invited to
participate in a discernment process that takes place very three
years at the end of each council term. (The present
council term ends in June, 2008) Pastoral Council meets on the
second Thursday of each month (September-June) from 6:30-8:00pm.
