Religious
Education is the primary responsibility of the parents to pass
on to their children. Children "catch" the
importance of faith thorough their lived environment and
experience, especially by the parents' example.
Immaculate
Conception Parish offers Parish Religious Education (P.R.E.), a
program assisting the parents in their responsibility of raising
children Catholic through weekly classes September through
May. Sacrament preparation for Eucharist, Reconciliation,
and Confirmation are part of this program. P.R.E. is a two
year program with a special schedule. Adult teachers are
always needed for this very important ministry. A love for
children, knowledge, and practice of the faith, with a
willingness to share your time and talent are excellent reasons
to consider this ministry.
