Started
in the fall of 2007, this ministry seeks to nourish among
parishioners and the wider community, a respect for all human
life from conception to natural death through prayer, education
and activities. The ministry is working closely with
Heartbeat Pregnancy Center of Ottawa County by providing support
through our Christmas Heart Tree and by collecting pledges for
their annual Walk for Life. The ministry promoted life
awareness campaigns such as Respect Life Sunday, The 40 Days for
Life, The National March for Life, and the Day of Penance for
Violations to the Dignity of the Human Person. The
highlight of the ministry's educational efforts so far is the
Respect Life Forum, a presentation of various life issues by a
panel of guest speakers.
